

I love deadlines
As I wrote, this is a busy time for me, but I keep insisting of stretching myself creating more art. I enrolled in Make Art That Sells Assignment Bootcamp with Lilla Rogers so that I have monthly assignments and deadlines that encourages me and helps me to grow as an illustrator. I just love to get those briefs and the deadlines even more. The fact that I have a structure and limitations helps me to concentrate and finish the assignment quicker, without too much procrastinati


Keep on learning
As a creative and maker I always look for ways to keep sharpen my craft. I think it is very important to learn new skills, refine my abilities and preserve the capability to create fresh ideas. One of the ways to do that is to take workshops and art classes outside the university system. Thankfully, these days art and design lessons are no more than a mouse-click away. Marsala Pattern #30
30 days with hand drawn patterns testing the Marsala color. I found that I like to use the Marsala in small amounts, combined with other colors and textures. In those ways it adds warmth and richness. The Marsala feels too heavy and dramatic as a main color in the patterns I made. I'm not the biggest fan of the color but I do love to play with shapes and make patterns.
