3 Weeks of Marsala Patterns

Pantone have just announced Marsala as their color of the year for 2015.

I must admit, that my first reaction was "really?! I was hoping for something much cooler".

But, then I watched the intriguing video with LeatriceEiseman, Executive Director, Pantone Color Institute and David Shah, Editorial Director PANTONEVIEW.com.

Their discussion about Marsala and the opportunities it brings made me want to give it real a try. The warm and rich wine color along with the brown undertones can make a fascinating design. I decided to explore the Marsala for 3 weeks in different hand drawn patterns and see what I feel about is by the end of the project.
